Hi Kim,
I just started reading your blog and i am fascinated, and ready to try everything the you have suggested. I have been a vegetarian for about 3 months now, which was a hard transition, because you realize all the things that you no longer can eat and wonder....hmmm so then what CAN i eat? I gained a bit of weight because i was eating too much bread, but i must say i feel a lot better! I have tried eating a little bit of meat maybe on 3 different occasions and it does not do it for me anymore. But i do still eat fish because my lack of knowledge on what to eat has left my body malnourished. Anyways I am happy i found this, so thank you for being so inspirational! :)
I did want to ask, what is it about soy milk that you don't recommend (mind you i think it tastes awful but my mom and dad drink it so I'm concerned about that)?

Thank you,

xoxo Gladys :)

I'm just beginning the blossoming beauty phase of the diet and I have been having problems for awhile now with yeast infections and other infections where I have too much bacteria. I was wondering if stevia and cinnamon were still okay to consume during this period, I know that sugar is a no no, but I really love the vegan vanilla latte!

Hi kim

Just made the vegan vanilla latte! I am not a cinnamon person but i tried it with almond milk (which I steamed and made nice and frothy) It is truly delish! Will replace my morning latte with it for a week to help me detox off the caffeine!

Looking forward to making the almost raw hot cholocate as I made a choice to leave the ones at Starbucks behind a couple of months ago. Still find myself thinking about them,
Also will be trying the vanilla lattee as I made a choice to leave green and white tea behind. I used them as a sneaky way to give myself a caffeine kick. After being away my emotions have improved. Thanks VLL

This is funny. A while back I tried to make my own version of Horchata that was dairy-free. Since here in California, most people make it with milk. I used all of these exact ingredients and method of warming the almond milk. Yummy Yummy Yummy.

I remember the first time that I tried real Horchata in Mexico that's made with rice milk.

I haven't made this in a while. It always brings a smile & light warmth in my belly. So thanks for inspiring my good memories.
